Officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan/Dorchester) recovered three firearms and made three arrests early Monday morning after responding to a large party at a residence on Glenway Street in Dorchester.
At approximately 1:07 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, officers responded to the address after the property owner, who had rented the residence through a short-term rental platform, requested that all parties be removed. The property owner met officers on scene and allowed them into the residence.
As officers entered and announced their presence, several people attempted to leave through an upstairs stairwell. Officers then heard movement coming from a third-floor bedroom. After the door was opened, officers observed a man attempting to conceal an item beneath a pillow on the bed. Underneath the pillow, officers located a bag containing a loaded firearm. The man, identified as Ryan White Jr., 20, of Randolph, was taken into custody.
While securing the room, officers observed a second man exiting an adjoining bathroom. A search of the bathroom turned up a second loaded firearm with an extended magazine. That man, identified as Daktari Rose Deacon, 20, of Hyde Park, was also placed under arrest.
During a protective sweep of a second bedroom on the same floor, officers located a third firearm inside a bag in a closet, along with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Both men were transported and booked accordingly. Both men are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for the following charges:
Ryan White Jr., 20, of Randolph:
- Carrying A Firearm Without A License
- Possession Of Ammunition Without An FID Card
- Carrying A Loaded Firearm
Daktari Rose Deacon, 20, of Hyde Park:
- Carrying A Firearm Without A License
- Possession Of Ammunition Without An FID Card
- Carrying A Loaded Firearm
- Possession Of A Large Capacity Firearm
A third individual, identified as Jaymier Teixeira, 19, of Taunton, was also arrested at the scene for disorderly conduct after repeatedly refusing officers’ lawful orders to leave the area. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
