The Boston Police Department is no longer seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the accompanying images in connection with an ongoing larceny investigation.
At approximately 2:13 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, officers responded to a radio call for a larceny in progress at the Sunglass Hut located at 4 Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Preliminary investigation indicates two suspects, a white male in his 30s to 40s and a white female, entered the store and engaged an employee about a repair inquiry as a distraction while the female suspect placed multiple pairs of designer sunglasses into two bags she was carrying. The suspects then fled the store on foot toward the Starbucks located within Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
The suspects are reported to have taken six pairs of designer sunglasses estimated to be worth several thousand dollars.
Detectives assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is strongly urged to contact District A-1 Detectives at (617) 343-6146.
