Summer is in full swing, and Mayor Wu, Commissioner Cox, Command Staff, and officers from District A-1 have been busy helping residents and visitors stay cool while enjoying everything Boston has to offer!
With warmer temperatures arriving, officers from District A-1 brought back the community-favorite BPD Slush Cart to Boston Common, giving neighbors and visitors a refreshing way to beat the heat.
The fun continued with the opening of the Frog Pond, and officers and cadets onboard the BPD Ice Cream Truck handed out free ice cream, made possible through the support of the Boston Police Foundation and our partners at HP Hood.
Whether we’re keeping our neighborhoods safe or creating opportunities to connect with the community, we’re proud to serve out City!
