At approximately 1:45 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a ShotSpotter activation in the area of 1447 Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan.
Upon arrival, officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the area of 1439 Blue Hill Avenue. Two more victims, suffering from gunshot wounds, were located in the area of 1460 Blue Hill Avenue where one of the victims was pronounced deceased. The three remaining victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Additionally, a fifth victim self-applied to a hospital outside of the city where he was then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
