Officers from District A-7 welcomed students from the Mario Umana Academy in East Boston to the A-7 District Station for a behind-the-scenes visit.
Our officers provided transportation for the students before giving them a tour of the station, introducing them to the officers who serve their neighborhood, and answering questions about what it’s like to be a Boston Police officer.
To cap off a fun day of learning and community engagement, students enjoyed free ice cream courtesy of the BPD Ice Cream Truck and our partners at HP Hood.
