BPS Students & BPD Officers Meet in 2nd Year of Pen Pal Program

Officers from across the Boston Police Department were proud to again participate in a special Pen Pal Program with students from the Curtis Guild Elementary School in East Boston.

Throughout the school year, officers and students exchanged letters while building meaningful connections. Recently, the program came full circle when the students had the opportunity to meet their officer “pen pals” in person for the first time.

Programs like this help strengthen positive relationships between young people and the officers who proudly serve their communities, creating connections that extend beyond the classroom.

A special thank you to Boston Public Schools and the Curtis Guild Elementary School for their continued partnership and commitment to making this impactful program possible!
