Months-Long C-11 Investigation Brings Down Major Crack Cocaine Distribution Ring

On Friday, May 22, 2026, members of the C-11 (Dorchester) Drug Control Unit, with assistance from the D-14 (Brighton/Allston) Drug Control Unit, concluded a months-long narcotics investigation, executing multiple court-authorized search warrants that resulted in the seizure of more than 644 grams of crack cocaine and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

The investigation focused on Willie Wilkerson, 67, of Brighton. Investigators had identified Wilkerson as a primary supplier operating across several neighborhoods in the City of Boston.

Officers conducted surveillance and gathered evidence over the course of several months. During that time, investigators developed probable cause to obtain search warrants for Wilkerson’s person, his motor vehicle, and multiple locations associated with him.

On the morning of May 22, officers observed Wilkerson leave a Dorchester residence and drive his vehicle to a gas station at the intersection of Quincy Street and Blue Hill Avenue. Officers stopped Wilkerson at that location and executed the search warrants for his person and vehicle without incident.

A search of Wilkerson’s person yielded an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and a set of keys, including house keys that accessed multiple locations. A search of his vehicle yielded 1.8 grams of crack cocaine located in the dashboard center console and confirmed positive for cocaine by field testing, an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency recovered from a hidden rear-seat compartment, and drug packaging materials consistent with distribution. Wilkerson was placed under arrest and transported to the District B-2 station for booking.

Officers then returned to Wilkerson’s Dorchester residence and secured it pending the issuance of an additional search warrant. A search of that location yielded drug packaging materials and a small quantity of crack cocaine.

Using keys recovered during the vehicle search, investigators identified and secured a Brighton apartment associated with Wilkerson pending issuance of a court-authorized search warrant. Later that evening, officers executed the warrant at the Brighton location. A search of the apartment yielded the most significant seizure of the investigation, including approximately 644 grams of crack cocaine recovered from a locked bedroom closet, multiple scales and drug packaging materials recovered from the kitchen, multiple Pyrex containers, and various drug paraphernalia including baking soda and packaging with residue.

In total, investigators seized more than 644 grams of crack cocaine and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. Wilkerson’s vehicle was also seized for further investigation.

Willie Wilkerson, 67, of Brighton, was placed under arrest and will be arraigned at Roxbury District Court. He is charged with the following:

  • Trafficking in a Class B Controlled Substance (over 200 grams)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Controlled Substance
