​BPD Community Alert: Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance in Efforts to Identify Individual in Relation to a Larceny in Boston

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in efforts to identify the individual shown in the accompanying images as it relates to an ongoing larceny investigation in Boston.

The facts and circumstances surrounding the initial incident are as follows:

At about 6:23 PM on Monday, May 4, 2026, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call for a larceny report in the area of 126 Charles Street in Boston.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated an unknown female entered the store and took a pair of earrings without paying for them.​ The victim stated the suspect exited the store and took a left towards Boston Common. 

Detectives assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District A-1 Detectives at (617) 343-4248.
