BPD in the Community: Boston Police Take Part in Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Reading Series

As part of AAPI Heritage Month, Boston Police Officers are once again taking part in a reading series throughout the City of Boston.

The first session brought officers to the Mattahunt School in Mattapan, where they read “Mixed: A Colorful Story” with students and spent time answering questions about their role as police officers, their backgrounds, and their experiences serving the community.

Thank you to the Mayor’s Office of Early Education and the Lingzi Foundation for helping make this meaningful series possible. We can’t wait to continue reading with those we serve!
