The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s help in efforts to identify the individual shown in the accompanying image as it relates to an ongoing armed robbery investigation.
The facts and circumstances of the initial incident are as follows:
At about 12:02 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) were flagged down by a victim who stated he had been robbed of his cellphone and jewelry in the area of Northampton Street and Washington Street in Boston. The victim stated he was meeting up with a friend to return his property at 101 Northampton Street. The victim stated he texted his friend when he arrived at the location. The victim stated an unknown black male ran up to his motor vehicle, opened the passenger’s door and pointed a black firearm at the victim before ripping off the victim’s chain and snatching his cell phone. The victim stated the suspect fled down Northampton Street towards Shawmut Avenue.
