At about 9:30 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of Justice Tucker, 27-years-old, of Roxbury and the recovery of a loaded firearm in the area of Warren Street and Deckard Street in Dorchester.
While driving on Warren Street, officers observed a motor vehicle speed through a red light while simultaneously following a Boston EMS vehicle with their emergency lights and sirens active. The vehicle was stopped by officers at the intersection of Warren Street and Deckard Street and an inquiry of the operator led to the discovery of an active warrant out of Roxbury District Court for charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and other various firearm related offenses. The operator was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody. A search of the towed motor vehicle led to the recovery of a firearm underneath the driver’s seat.
The firearm was determined to be a Taurus G2C 9mm firearm loaded with eleven rounds of live ammunition. Additionally, officers recovered a second magazine containing ten rounds of live ammunition inside of a backpack on the passenger’s seat.
Justice Tucker is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Carrying a Firearm without a License, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device. Tucker was also issued a Massachusetts Uniform Citation for violations of the auto laws.
