Keeping Boston Safe: At about 8:52 AM on Friday, April 17, 2026, members of the District E-5 (West Roxbury) Drug Control Unit in partnership with the NORPAC Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant in the 4800 block of Washington Street in West Roxbury, resulting in the arrest of Elmer William Aviles (aka Adrian Tejada Arias), 39-years-old, of Jamaica Plain and the recovery of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash.
Officers conducted a drug investigation into the suspect which resulted in the retention of a search warrant for the suspect’s person, his residence, and two motor vehicles.
While surveilling the suspect’s residence, officers observed the suspect exit his residence where he was taken into custody by virtue of a default warrant out of West Roxbury District Court on charges of Distribution of Class A Substance, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Substance, Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Furnishing a False Identification to Law Enforcement. The suspect was advised of the search warrant and officers were provided with access to the residence and motor vehicles.
Upon entering the residence, officers recovered seven plastic bags containing approximately eighty (80) grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, several identifications with the name “Adrian Tejada Arias,” and an undisclosed amount of US Currency.
Aviles is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on the charge of Trafficking a Class B Substance.
