BPD in the Community: District E-5 Starts Up “Walk the Beat” Program in West Roxbury/Roslindale Area

Officers from District E-5 kicked off their “Walk the Beat” program this week for the West Roxbury/Roslindale neighborhoods!

With the arrival of the spring, it’s another way for our officers to connect with community members – familiar faces and to meet new community members along the way.

The Boston Police “Walk the Beat” program was started coming out of the COVID 19 pandemic as a fun way to get seniors back out of their homes and interacting with our officers and other neighbors. It’s a great way to stay active and connected with neighbors and our officers.

Interested in joining us? The District E-5 Walk the Beat Program meets every Monday at 10:00 AM at Millennium Park Playground Lot C. All walking levels are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you next week!
