Keeping Boston Safe: At about 12:32 PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, members of the District B-2 (Roxbury) and Citywide Drug Control Units conducted a drug investigation which resulted in the arrest of Willie Quinerly for Trafficking a Class B Substance in the area of Ruggles Street and Washington Street in Roxbury.
While on directed patrol in the Nubian Square area, officers observed an apparent drug transaction take place in the area of the aforementioned intersection. Officers conducted a search of the male suspect and subsequently recovered twenty one grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and an undisclosed amount of US Currency.
Officers arrested Willie Quinerly, 42-years-old, of Hyde Park. Quinerly is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of Trafficking a Class B Substance and Distribution of a Class B Substance.
