On Saturday, March 21, 2026, officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) and D-4 (South End) conducted a joint investigation to address community complaints.
in the area of 10 East Brookline Street.
Multiple search warrants were applied for and granted for 10 East Brookline Street as well as the target of the investigation. As a result of the search warrants, officers located two plastic bags of methamphetamine, one plastic bag of ecstasy, liquid fentanyl inside a needle, various pills, digital scales, and approximately $757 in U.S. currency.
Robert Beal, 41, of Brockton, was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court for the following charges:
- Possession with intent to distribute class A
- Possession with intent to distribute class B
- Possession with intent to distribute class C
- Possession with intent to distribute class E
Beal also had an active warrant for his arrest for charges of receiving stolen property and possession of class A. One female suspect was also summonsed to Boston Municipal Court for possession with intent to Distribute Class B.
Later that evening, the D-4 Drug Control Unit continued their proactive work, and observed a street level drug transaction transpired in the area of 616 Massachusetts Avenue. Officers maintained surveillance on two suspects as they entered Chester Park.
Police stopped both suspects, and advised them of the reason for the stop. Officers recovered loose crack cocaine, and approximately $40 in U.S. currency. Due to medical conditions, both suspects were told that they would be summonsed to Boston Municipal Court for distribution of class B, possession with intent to distribute class B, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
