As we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day today, we want to acknowledge our dedicated officers who worked hard to keep the parade in South Boston on Sunday safe for attendees of all ages. Officers were on foot, bicycles, motorcycles, gators and cruisers patrolling the area and helping in what ways they could.
Thank you to everyone who celebrated responsibly, and to our officers, and our public safety and other City partners for their collaboration and support: Boston – EMS, Fire, Transportation, Inspectional Services, Boston Parks & Recreation, 311, Public Works, and the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services.
We also want to thank the Massachusetts State Police and the MBTA Transit Police for their continued partnership.
