Detectives assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual pictured in connection with an assault and battery on a pregnant woman that occurred at approximately 11:03 AM on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 104 Warren Street in Roxbury.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a dispute arose inside the laundromat when a victim experienced difficulty using a payment card on the machines. As the argument escalated, an unknown male who had interjected himself into the dispute struck the victim, who was five months pregnant, kicking her in the stomach. The suspect then fled the laundromat in the direction of Moreland Street.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 6’0″ tall, wearing a blue New York Yankees hat, a beige hoodie, and blue pants.
Detectives are also seeking to identify a female individual who was present during the incident and may be associated with the suspect. A photo of this individual is included above.
