Cancel BPD Community Alert: Detectives Assigned to District A-1 No Longer Seek Public Assistance in Locating Seitu Morel of Cambridge, MA

Detectives have located Seitu Morel

On Wednesday, March 4, 2026,  at approximately 3:19 PM, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call reporting an assault and battery in progress at 226 Causeway Street. Upon arrival, officers learned that Morel had allegedly assaulted several students from a nearby school during dismissal.

Following the assault, Morel reportedly walked onto a charter bus near TD Garden and attempted to steal a bag that had been left unattended while bus passengers were attending the Boston Celtics game.

In addition to the incident described above, arrest warrants have also been issued for Morel in connection with a separate assault and battery and unarmed robbery that occurred on February 25, 2026, at 1912 Beacon Street in Brighton.

Detectives assigned to District A-1 are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents.
