About 8:48 PM, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, officers working a paid detail at the TD Garden, were flagged down by a victim whose Boston Blue Bike was just stolen. The victim advised officers that he had rented the bike, when a suspect took it from him.
The victim was able to track the location of the blue bike and provided officers with an updated location as well as a description of the suspect. As officers approached Haverhill Street they observed a male individual walking a bike towards Causeway Street.
Police stopped the suspect who denied stealing the bike but could not answer where he rented it from. The bike was returned to the victim who confirmed the Blue Bike number.
Hunter Guest, 23, of Franklin, was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court for Receiving Stolen Property over $1,200.
Officers also determined that the suspect had five active warrants out of Milford District Court for the following offenses:
– Assault and Battery on a Public Employee
– Trespass
– Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise
– Unarmed Robbery
– Assault and Battery
