About 7:25 AM, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, officers assigned to the Boston Police Fugitive Unit along with the Massachusetts State Police and U.S. Marshals arrested Jose Renderos, 66, of East Boston, in the area of 74 White Street, East Boston.
The suspect was wanted on full extradition warrant issued out of California from the Los Angeles Police Department for Sexual Assault. The suspect was also wanted on a warrant issued out of East Boston for Fugitive of Justice. He is expected to be arraigned in East Boston District Court.
