About 4:01 AM, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to the area of 52 Bellevue Street for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. Boston Police Operations advised officers that two males were attempting to break down the door to a condo, with a female hiding near the back door.
Upon arrival, officers could see two males inside of the apartment. The suspects observed officers approaching, and attempted to flee out of the rear of the building. Officers ran towards the rear of the home and were able to apprehend both male suspects on the first-floor landing.
While officers were searching the interior of the apartment, they observed the rear door to be damaged and off the hinges. As they continued to search inside for more suspects, they located a pair of discarded sneakers and a jacket.
Officers placed the two males into their cruisers for prisoner transport when they were approached by a female individual without shoes or a coat. After further investigation, officers determined that the female was also involved in the breaking and entering.
