On Thursday, January 29, 2026, officers assigned to the Citywide Drug Control Unit along with the Everett Police Drug Control Unit, arrested Juan Romero, 31, of Dorchester, on multiple drug related offenses.
Officers applied and were granted search warrants for 174 Hamilton Street, in Dorchester. As a result of the search warrants, officers located and recovered 8 grams of Fentanyl, 23 grams of Crack Cocaine, a digital scale, and approximately $1,634 in U.S. currency.
Romero was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for the following charges:
- Trafficking of Class B
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B
