Happy Birthday to a true American hero, World War II Veteran and Boston residents Arthur Rose.
Mr. Rose is 107 years old today and officers from District D-4 in Back Bay were honored to help celebrate him.
Our officers brought birthday wishes and gifts as they spent time sharing stories and celebrating this incredible milestone.
On D-Day 1944 – Mr. Rose was on a boat off Omaha Beach in Normandy. He was in charge of dozens of vessels providing provisions to keep the Army going.
