Officers from District A-7 returned to the James Otis School in East Boston as part of the school’s Thirty Day Read Aloud Program.
Our officers picked up the story right where they left off, continuing to read with students and share time together in the classroom. Throughout the end of the month, additional officers will take part in the program, working together to finish the book while building positive connections with the students along the way.
Programs like this highlight the importance of education and meaningful engagement with our young neighbors throughout the city!
