BPD in the Community: On Sunday, January 25, 2026, BPD Hockey Skills kicked off its new Learn to Skate program at the rink at Tall Ship Boston. Despite a major snowstorm brewing, new skaters were thrilled to hit the ice for the very first time. East Boston officers, Cadets, and BPD Hockey Skills students all came out to lend a hand.
The response has been incredible, and the free program was filled in under an hour, with next week already full as well. Week three has not been posted yet, but registration is available at rinkboston.com.
