On Thursday, January 15, 2026, officers assigned to the Drug Control Unit of District D-4 (South End) arrested Raiquan Turner, 29, of Woburn, for drug related offenses.
About 10:52 AM, officers observed the suspect engage in a hand to hand exchange with another male. Officers believed that a street level drug transaction transpired. The suspect was seen walking from the area on Northampton Street towards Washington Street.
A marked cruiser was requested to respond, and the suspect was stopped at the intersection of Washington Street and Massachusetts Avenue. During a search incident to arrest, officers recovered fourteen plastic bags of crack cocaine.
Turner was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court for the following charges:
– Distribution of Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine)
– Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine)
