Officers from District A-7 were happy to join students and staff from the James Otis School’s Thirty Day Read Aloud Program.
Our officers spent time reading a variety of stories to the class and answering thoughtful questions about what it’s like to be a police officer in the City of Boston. This tradition will continue with an officer visiting each day to read a chapter over the course of 30 days from selected books.
It is a great opportunity to be a consistent presence with the youth we serve, and share the love of reading with our young neighbors in East Boston!
