Second Suspect Arrested: At about 10:30 PM, on Thursday, January 1, 2026, Boston Police arrested Kwessi Silcott, 20, of Mattapan, at 2400 Washington Street, Roxbury. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on a warrant for:
- Murder
- Carrying a Firearm without a License
He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 1:24 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025, officers assigned to District B-3 (Dorchester/Mattapan) responded to a ShotSpotter activation and reports of multiple people shot in the area of 2 Hiawatha Road in Mattapan.
Upon arrival, officers located three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. All three victims were treated at the scene and transported by Boston EMS to local hospitals. On Friday, November 7, 2025, one of the victims from the triple shooting was pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as 18-year-old G’Kiyah Lewis of Malden. The other two adult male victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
