Mayor Wu, Commissioner Cox, and officers from across the Boston Police Department were proud to join the community in welcoming the New Year at Boston’s First Night celebration along the parade route, on the Common and on City Hall Plaza.
Our officers were on hand throughout the evening to help ensure everyone could celebrate safely while enjoying the festivities, including fireworks, ice skating, and more. It was a great night to come together as a city and ring in the year ahead.
