Officers from District A-1 were proud to join neighbors across Charlestown and the North End for a series of holiday traditions throughout the neighborhoods.
Officers first gathered with the Charlestown community at the Bunker Hill Monument to celebrate the lighting of the Menorah. The event featured traditional music and arts and crafts, bringing families together to celebrate the season.
Officers also welcomed members of the Walk the Beat program for a special luncheon at the historic Warren Tavern. The gathering was made even more memorable with a surprise visit from Santa Claus. A sincere thank you to the entire Warren Tavern team for their continued support and hospitality.
Finally, officers joined families at the Nazzaro Center Children’s Christmas Party in the North End. Those in attendance got to enjoy making balloon animals, playing basketball, and of course spreading holiday cheer.
