On Thursday, December 18, officers and staff assigned to District E-5 (West Roxbury) joined members of the Lyndon School community for a festive holiday-themed community engagement event. Officers assisted Santa at the Lyndon School crossing, where students were thrilled to see him and enjoyed the opportunity to take photos in the department’s Gator off-road vehicle.
During the visit, District E-5 staff also stopped by Kids R Kids, a local toy store on Centre Street that has proudly served the West Roxbury community for more than 36 years. The visit highlighted the strong relationships between local businesses, schools, and public safety partners, and reflected the department’s continued commitment to connecting with the community in meaningful ways.
