Investigation Update: Three Suspects Arrested following a Carjacking in Dorchester

Investigation Update: At about 2:30 PM, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force effected a warrant arrest with the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit, and Transit Police. At the time of the arrest, a 17-year-old Juvenile Male, was located in the area of 10 Abbotsford Street. The suspect was wanted on a warrant obtained by B-2 Detectives issued out of Boston Juvenile Court for the following charges:

  • Delinquent to wit; Armed Carjacking, Firearm
  • Delinquent to wit; Carrying a Firearm without a License
  • Delinquent to wit; Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
  • Delinquent to wit; Larceny over $1,200
  • Delinquent to wit; Conspiracy

The suspect is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court. The apartment was secured by Detectives pending a search warrant.

As officers were placing the suspect into handcuffs, a second suspect began to film and taunt officers. B-2 Detectives were able to determine that this individual was also involved in the carjacking incident and was quickly taken into custody.

Aamir Sylvia, 19, of Dorchester, was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court for the following charges:

  • Armed Carjacking, Firearm
  • Threat to Commit a Crime
  • Conspiracy

The morning of Tuesday, December 16, 2025, Transit Police observed a third suspect, Atiana Suazo, 20, of Dorchester, in the area of Ashmont Train Station. She was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.

The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 8:30 PM, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the area of Columbia Road and Quincy Street for a report of an Armed Carjacking. Officers were advised that one suspect pointed a firearm at the victim, and a second suspect was also armed with a firearm. The suspects fled the scene with the victim’s vehicle.

A B-2 Detective located the stolen motor vehicle in the area of 14 Abbotsford Street. The vehicle was towed from the scene pending further investigation.
