It was a memorable day as Boston Police Headquarters went a little dog happy… as we celebrated a very special milestone, Copper the BPD Comfort Dog’s 2nd birthday with her Mom and a few of her four legged friends!
Comfort dogs from Boston and neighboring communities joined the celebration, along with Copper’s breeder, Jocelyn Dame of @damedogslabradors, whose generous donation made Copper a part of the BPD family. Jocelyn surprised everyone by bringing along Copper’s mom, Rey, making the celebration even more special.Several officers and members of the public stopped by to say hello, and one of our talented officers even made Copper’s Birthday dress…and we thank her for her generosity!
Over the past two years, Copper has become an invaluable member of the Boston Police Department, helping strengthen connections with those we serve!
