South End Officers Arrested Two Shoplifting Suspects

About 5:55 PM, on Monday, December 8, 2025, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) responded to the area of 200 Newbury Street for a report of a larceny in progress.

Boston Police Operations provided a description of two suspects seen fleeing the area down Exeter Street towards Commonwealth Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers observed an individual matching the description in the area of 186 Commonwealth Avenue. Two jackets with tags still attached to them were located behind a flower pot on Exeter Street.

The suspect, Kyle Brown, 41, of Boston, was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court for Larceny under $1,200.

About 8:20 PM, District 4 officers observed a male inside the Lululemon Store at the Prudential Mall, attempting to steal merchandise. Officers approached the suspect, and advised him that they were conducting a shoplifting investigation. The stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the store.

Justin Webb, 39, of Weymouth, was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court for Shoplifting by Asportation, and Common & Notorious Thief.
