Investigation Update: At about 12:50 PM, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested Michael Ptomey, 65, of Roxbury, and Robert Alexander, 70, of Dorchester, in the area of 2400 Washington Street, Roxbury. At the time of their arrests, the suspects were wanted on a warrant obtained by B-2 Detectives issued out of Roxbury District Court for the following charges:
- Carrying a Firearm without a License
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID card
- Discharge a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building
- Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Roxbury Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 1:30 PM, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the area of 230 Warren Street for a report of a person shot. The victim self-applied to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
