The Boston Police Department Returns to Kroc Center to Serve Thanksgiving Meals for Seniors

Mayor Wu, Commissioner Cox, members of the Command Staff, and many of our officers from across the BPD joined our partners at the Salvation Army to take part in serving Thanksgiving meals to seniors at the Kroc Center in Roxbury!

Serving up turkey with all the sides, and of course some apple pie for dessert is an annual tradition for BPD at this meaningful event. It is a day to give thanks and celebrate with the community we serve. Seeing so many familiar smiling faces reminds us what this season and our career is all about: coming together to build trust, giving back, and protecting those we serve.

A huge thank you to the Salvation Army and to all the seniors who made the day so special. We’re grateful to take part each year!
