Investigation Update: About 12:26 PM, on Friday, November 21, 2025, a 16-year-old Juvenile Male was arrested at District E-13 (Jamaica Plain). At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on a warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court for the following charges:
- Murder
- Firearm used in a Commission of a Felony
- Assault and Battery Attempt with a Firearm
- Carrying a Firearm without a License
The 16-year-old Juvenile male is expected to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 12:23 PM on Friday, July 5, 2024, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to the area of Gladeside Avenue and Donwood Terrace for a report of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located two victims inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to local hospitals, one with non-life threatening injuries, the second victim was suffering from life threatening injuries. The second victim was pronounced deceased and identified as Christian Cousins, 17, of Stoughton.
