Officers from District B-2 and the School Engagement Unit teamed up with members of the Boston Fire Department to visit a kindergarten class at the Richard J. Murphy School in Dorchester!
The group spent the morning reading stories and learning about what we do. Officers talked about our role in keeping students and their families safe, but also how the kiddos’ themselves can do their part in staying safe. The students had great questions and warmed our officers’ hearts.
These moments are what Community Policing is about, building trust with those we serve – of all ages!
