Over the past week, officers from across the Boston Police Department have been proudly honoring the veterans who have defended our freedom.
In South Boston, officers from District C-6 joined local officials and community partners for the Coats4Vets campaign, delivering coats and essentials to veterans at Patriot Homes and beyond
District D-14 officers spent time celebrating veterans at the Veronica Smith Senior Center in Brighton, while officers from District E-5 took part in the Veterans Day Ceremony at the German Center in West Roxbury and attended a Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Gardens of Gethsemane.
We are grateful to all veterans for their service and sacrifice, it’s an honor to celebrate those who have served.
