On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, officers assigned to the Citywide Neighborhood Engagement Safety Team (NEST), working with officers from Districts B-2 (Roxbury), C-6 (South Boston), and D-4 (South End), arrested William Allen, 31, of Boston, on multiple drug-related charges.
Around 5:20 PM, officers were patrolling the area of Roxbury Street and Washington Street in response to ongoing quality-of-life concerns. A Sergeant observed two individuals engaging in what appeared to be a hand-to-hand exchange before both entered a store at 2371 Washington Street. Shortly after, they exited the store and went their separate ways.
Roughly ten minutes later, Allen was seen meeting with a second individual. The pair briefly conversed, entered the same store, and again exited in opposite directions. Officers relayed this information to nearby units, who stopped the female suspect. A small plastic bag containing what was later determined to be crack cocaine was recovered from her. She was advised that she would be summonsed for Possession of a Class B substance.
The Sergeant continued surveillance on Allen, who was soon approached by a third individual. After another brief conversation and hand-to-hand exchange, officers stopped the third person and recovered a second small bag of crack cocaine. That individual was also advised they would be summonsed for Possession of a Class B substance.
Officers then approached Allen and placed him under arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed thirty-six individually wrapped plastic bags of crack cocaine in his possession.
Allen is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court for the following drug charges:
- Two counts of Distribution of Class B
- Possession of Class B with Intent to Distribute
