Investigation Update: Homicide Victim Identified in Hiawatha Road Triple Shooting

At about 1:24 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025, officers assigned to District B-3 (Dorchester/Mattapan) responded to a shot spotter activation and repots of multiple people shot in the area of 2 Hiawatha Road in Mattapan.

Upon arrival, officers located three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.  All three victims were treated and transported by Boston EMS from the scene to local hospitals for treatment. On Friday, November 7, 2025, one of the victims from the triple shooting was pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as 18-year-old G’Kiyah Lewis of Malden. The other two adult male victims’ injuries are considered non-life threatening.

The Boston Police Department Homicide Unit continues to actively investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. No arrests have been made in this homicide investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
