On Thursday, November 6, 2025, officers from District D-4 (South End) continued their enforcement efforts under “Operation Safe Scooter” in the area surrounding Northeastern University, focusing on Huntington Avenue and Gainsboro Street.
As part of the operation, officers towed four motorcycles and issued citations for various motor vehicle violations, including operating unregistered motorcycles and driving without a license, for which a summons was issued.
In addition to enforcement actions, officers have conducted several educational campaigns in recent weeks, informing riders about the proper procedures for the legal operation of scooters and motorcycles within the city.
