Officers from the School Engagement Unit continued their weekly Tuesday Boxing Program at the TMX Boxing Academy!
The program, now running for about a year, brings together Boston students who display focus and an interest in boxing. Each week, Officer Traft leads the program. A two-time NE Golden Gloves Champion, certified coach and licensed professional boxing trainer, Officer Traft trains these students, who spar, and learn alongside more experienced boxers, all while building confidence, discipline and community connections.
It’s a great way to stay in shape and for our officers to strengthen bonds with youth in our communities!
