BPD in the Community: District B-3 Hosts First “Pink Ribbon Bowl” Flag Football Tournament to Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer

BPD Officers from District B-3 organized the first “Pink Ribbon Bowl”, a Flag Football Tournament to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. The tourney raised funds for the Ellie Fund and brought officers together to support the community and each other. Many of those taking part have been impacted by cancer.

100 female officers, and one civilian team, participated in what we hope to make an annual tournament.

Commissioner Cox celebrated the coin toss and several other officers took part as coaches and officials. It was an incredible team effort.  Thank you to all our officers who donated their time.
