On Sunday, October 26, 2025, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) arrested Shawquan Jackson, 35, of Brookline, and Tyreek Woodley, 26, of Dorchester, on multiple firearm and drug related offenses.
About 8:17 PM, officers responded to the area of 45 Alpha Road for a report of two males with firearms. Upon arrival, two male individuals were seen walking into a driveway at 34 Alpha Road and were unlocking a motor vehicle. Officers spoke with the property owner and were advised that the individuals did not live there.
As officers attempted to handcuff the two suspects, a firearm was felt inside of Woodley’s front left jacket pocket. Woodley immediately took off his coat and fled towards Tremlett Street. A foot pursuit ensued, and officers were quickly able to apprehend him. A frisk of the discarded jacket revealed a firearm was inside the jacket pocket. The recovered firearm was determined to be a stolen Glock 43 with one round in the chamber and twelve rounds in the magazine.
Simultaneously, officers observed Jackson reaching for a fanny back that was slung over his shoulder and sitting at his waistline. The suspect was quickly placed into handcuffs, and a firearm was recovered from inside the fanny back. As officers continued to search the fanny back, they also recovered a plastic bag of Fentanyl that weighed approximately ten grams.
The firearm was determined to be a Glock 17 with one round in the chamber and thirty rounds in the magazine. A sear switch was mounted to the firearm which allowed it to be fully automatic.
