Officers from District C-6, the Bureau of Community Engagement, and the Mobile Operations Patrol (Motorcycle) Unit were proud to join the South Boston community for the 5th Annual Colin’s Joy 5K!
Hosted by Colin’s Joy Project, the proceeds of the race support enhancing children’s play spaces across Boston. Our officers were along the route ensuring everyone’s safety, cheering on runners and handing out free ice cream from the BPD Ice Cream Truck courtesy of the Boston Police Foundation’s COP fund and HP Hood.
It was a great day supporting a wonderful cause in South Boston!
