BPD Community Alert: Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance Identifying Bicycle Theft Suspects in Roxbury

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals shown in the accompanying images in connection with a recent breaking and entering and bicycle theft in Roxbury.

At about 9:50 AM on Sunday, September 21, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) took a report from a victim regarding the theft of two bicycles from an apartment building located at 53 Adams Street.

The investigation revealed that at approximately 4:00 AM, two suspects used bolt cutters to break a window next to the entrance door, gaining access to the building. Once inside, the suspects used the cutters to remove the locks and steal two bicycles.

Surveillance footage shows the suspects arriving from Eustis Street, fleeing down Adams Street, and turning back onto Eustis Street.

Suspect Descriptions:

  • Suspect #1: Black or Black Hispanic male, beard, hair in pigtails, wearing all dark clothing
  • Suspect #2: Male, beard, wearing a black hat, brown jacket, gray sweatpants, and black Adidas sneakers
