Members of the Command Staff, along with officers and civilian staff from Districts A-1 and A-15, joined neighbors in Charlestown for another Community CompStat Meeting.
These meetings give residents the chance to hear from members of the BRIC regarding statistical and intelligence based information regarding their area. Residents hear first hand from leadership and officers about trends, but most importantly these meetings give us a chance to hear directly from those we serve about what they feel our priorities should be. What do they see happening in their neighborhoods so we can engage in meaningful conversations about how best to help people to be and to feel safe in our City.
Modeled after our internal BPD CompStat meetings, Community CompStat Meetings were started by Commissioner Cox and have become a critical tool in our Community Policing efforts in every neighborhood in Boston.
