About 1:40 AM on Thursday, October 2, 2025 officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to 107 Bloomfield Street in Dorchester on a report of a B&E and a person shot at that location. On arrival, the officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds inside an apartment in the multi family dwelling. The victim was pronounced by Boston EMS on scene.
After consultation with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Angel Rivera, 30, of Dorchester was placed under arrest and charged with: Manslaughter, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition. He is expected to be arraigned in the Dorchester District Court.
