On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested a 16-year-old male and a 14-year-old female on firearm-related charges following a traffic stop in Dorchester.
At approximately 2:01 AM, officers observed a vehicle fail to stop at the intersection of Dewey Street and Dacia Street. The vehicle then pulled over in front of 67 Dacia Street, prompting officers to activate their emergency lights and sirens to initiate a stop.

Both juveniles were taken into custody. The firearm was identified as an Intratec Miami Fla 9MM Luger Tec-9 equipped with a large-capacity feeding device. No ammunition was found.
The two suspects are expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court on the following charges:
- Delinquent to wit: Unlawful Possession of a Machine Gun
